About
Hello, I am Carolyn Shepherd
Formally trained in interior design, I transitioned to landscape design in 2015, leveraging my creative skills to craft stunning outdoor envirtonments. In 2018, I founded Evolve Landscape LLC, an esteemed outdoor design/build firm serving the Denver Metro Area. At Evolve, I have enjoyed the creative freedom to blend my artisitc vision with landscape design, resulting in captivating outdoor spaces that reflect both functionallity & beauty. In 2020 our innovative designs were showcased at the CO Garden & Home Show, where we were honored with the prestigious Aspen Award for most creative design. I am deeply passionate about my work & am commited to continuing my journey of creative endevors in the years to come.
Specialties
As an out-of-the-box thinker, I am driven to explore every avenue to achieve exceptional results. With a natural affinity for numbers and mathematics, I excel in property estimation and envisioning potential build-outs. My passion lies in crafting outdoor spaces that seamlessly integrate with the natural environment while prioritizing considerations such as drainage and privacy needs. Using elements like boulders, wood, and trees, I specialize in creating transformative environments that elevate properties to new heights.
My journey in woodcraft began under the guidance of Master Carpenter Steve Hartwell, where I honed my skills and developed a deep appreciation for the artistry of woodworking. Inspired by Frank Loyd Wright & MC Escher , I have created a unique style , & ventured into creating my own unique pieces, incorporating multiple colors and textures to bring them to life. Through the use of custom stains and innovative finishes like epoxy, I push the boundaries of traditional woodworking to produce stunning and vibrant creations.
